I'm going to a redneck themed pool party next weekend and I need to bring some sort of redneck food.

Other people are already bringing:

Boxed mac & cheese
hot dogs
corn on da cob
fried chicken

I was thinking of just doing something simple and take tater tots and a watermelon.

Unless you guys have any better ideas? What do rednecks eat?

Depends on overall class of said rednecks. Higher class eat a lot of fast food; Applebees type crap, a lot of fired food, mid grade type steaks or other junk on grill. Generally normal but on the fatty side.

Lower class and poor eat absolute trash. Frozen bubba burgers, beef jerky, roadkill, whatever they find

lunch a sandwich and chips

dinner - anything fried and deer meat always good....and live crawfish on weekends with corn and taters unless grilling steaks or a fish fry - catfish and hushpuppies and a rotel dip with velveeta cheese.

Well now you're stereotyping. I don't know any rednecks that eat squirrels or roadkill. I'm from Louisiana, and I'll stand by what I said, but I'll clarify it a step further and say that rednecks eat the same food as everybody else in the South.

Yep seen it many times...long as the glass from headlights aren't embedded....most who do this will proceed Know a game warden years back who fielded the calls of cars hitting them on the highways and soon as he heard one come across the radio he's sent out word to the guys looking for meat and away they go to get it.

I saw one episode oft honey boo boo once, where they butchered a wild boar or something. Seriously would never do it. These dead animals may have some sick deseases....

no i'm talking wild rattlesnake they caught on side of the cattle guard on a lease road.... i'm good im from LA I had to pass i'm sure It was good they looked happy skinned it cleaned it and wrapped it in foil and cooked it on the engine of a mack truck engine... Craziest countriest shit I've seen to date.
