Very sad that he suffered. Sad that now those he was loved by have shattered hearts. What a rotten day it is for them today and many more they will suffer. May they find PEACE.

#38A lot of girls on FB are posting things like... "I lost my uncle yesterday." in reference to his death. 3 girls posted something similar to that effect. Wow. Touching.
Like I said in the other Williams thread... he's the first "main" celebrity to die in my book... in reference to... looking up to an actor or actress as a kid. It just shows we are all getting older... and we're going to witness more of this. I'm sad too. But he felt like he couldn't take it anymore on earth... and he had nothing more to shoot for. Regardless if he took his own life... he made most of the people in this world... laugh, cry, and think... by his films. He'll always be remembered.Comment -

#39Nice post, SJ. Surprisingly and refreshing, the majority of the SBR community has been mature about it, but in other places you have the usual shitheads with no clue.Comment -

#41Originally posted by Swinging JohnsonSometimes when you get in front of a problem it never manifests. Attempted to douse the fire before it started. The other 10% you speak of can be easily found. Just go to any of the comments section of any site carrying this story. Unfortunately the keyboard gangsters are many...but not here Im happy to say.
got ya
I was figuring thats what you were meaning by that post, because I was actually surprised at how respectful
damn near every poster at SBR was about the Robin Williams tragedy.
I can only imagine some of the shit people are posting on other sites.Comment -

#45Not to be rude to other celebrities but this one saddens me more than all
Not from the fact of the suicide
but from the fact he hid his demons so well
Very sad for the family but happy for Robin
Robin is finally free from his battle with personal torturous demons
RIP Mr Williams,you've earned it..........Comment -

#47it's not demons pal. looks like robin williams had financial problems due to two bad divorces. that's the reason why he was taking shitty rolls to get paid. i think what broke the camel's back was when his tv show got cancelled in may. and really didn't want to go on making shitty movies to make ends meet like mrs. doubtfire 2.
financial problems, not demons, probably is the number one reason for suicides for people over 40...Comment -

#58Philosophies change with time and experience. Things like watching your kids grow up tends to change your point of view. If you're truly being intellectually honest then I would submit that your life's end arrives at about 30 if indeed being young and beautiful is your end game. And more to the point does that preclude homely women and men from living at all as they will never be beautiful? I am not criticizing you as your opinion about your own life is yours and yours alone. But from my perspective it's a bit amusing.Originally posted by AimePorMany people do not accept my life philosophy, but i would really enjoy to pass away young and beautiful /it is just my opinionComment -
