Not all blacks are from ferguson and not all blacks grew up in the hood or look down on being cops ....believe it or not at one point TP was an LA sheriff explorer two steps away from the academy....I know a little something about this LA sheriff and LAPD was overwhelmingly white in the 80 early 90s remember the riots chief gates to this day lower income black people in inner city LA don't trust the cops but the police force reflects the community now guess what they hit recruiting hard in all the places I've mentioned can you guess why? It's not rocket science and it's not that difficult if you really want to budget and try in other words if you really care about diversity which it seems they don't or they would have done it.....lack of applicants is weak the chief doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer he had to look at his notes during his statement this morning to spell wilson

Just read that Officer Wilson(the cop that shot Brown) was the cop who got the call about the robbery and was in route and also had descriptions of the 2 that robbed the convenience store. I am really doubting Dorian's story that he told them to "Get the fukk on the sidewalk" He already knew who he was looking for. He wasn't "profiling them"

Yea its no surprise....I mean he's standing there watching, walks out and obviously stayed with Brown through the cop encounter, if they wanted to be assholes they could charge him with conspiracy or some small charge but as soon as they do, the media would come down on them so its a safe play to just let it slide is their thinking.

They did didn't they? I mean the initial images from the weekend show the area taped off, body in the street covered and apparently the officer was at the hospital being treated for the facial injuries. Seems pretty routine.

I think they got what they wanted, community uproar, combat policeman with tanks, they want us to get used to this sort of thing, show a person something over and over no matter how shocking they will start seeing it as the norm.

There is no Darren Wilson that works for Ferguson PD according to their 2013 Annual Report. They said he's a 6 year vet so he must work for another PD. Which also makes sense because when St Louis County PD called Ferg PD and asked if they needed backup for the shooting, Ferg PD said they hadn't heard about it yet. STL County Dispatch said on air they heard it on the news so that's how they knew. The only Darren Wilson in STL County PD that can be found is the black dude who police confirmed wasn't the murderer.

As far as Mike being a "violent criminal", that's a massive stretch. This unarmed shoplifter was gunned down with approx 9 bullets and was unarmed with his hands up in the air. James Holmes KILLED twelve people and was merely arrested. There is nothing that justifies this shooting regardless of the colour of his skin. Ferguson isn't some ghetto hood like some are portraying it to be... go on social media and talk to people of all ethnicities who actually live there. The Police Chief released a report in Nov saying that as far as crime goes, it's the 2nd safest place in Missouri.

I'm back n forth between MSNBC and CNN depending on the best entertaining coverage. Its hilarious so many people with so many thoughts and yet as always, all speculation being passed as 'news'. Tremayne Lee said on Ronan Farrow that on the block people are starting to question was the video from another day because they don't think the clothes are the same since in the video Dorian has on a dark top but at the shooting he had a wife beater on....pretty obvious he took the over shirt off at some point but thats not stopping the conspiracy types.

I just cant wait to see the medical report on the officer....thats going to be a big piece of all this. Will either corroborate Dorian's account or dismiss is and let us know how much of a 'struggle' there was. If indeed this big dude did say break a nose or something and went for the weapon...I can see why he fired then came out shooting....watery eyes or disoriented from the blows whatever....from that point you come out in survival mode, if he knew he was looking at a robbery suspect armed or not is unknown, but when he tried to catch the guy, he fought and assaulted you....escalation of force was in order then. Its not like he was going to holster his weapon and get out among the two men and laugh and say 'good shot man, u got me good, ok now come on over here and lets discuss all this and hug it out and start over' he's coming out to eliminate the threat. Theres been so much, mainly from the family and protestors and hardly any from the cops passed around that I can see why the family hasnt mentioned it...still hearing some in the news say 'he allegedly' and 'why did the chief mention today the robbery, it had nothing to do with brown' like you said, agendas. I posted on page one or so in this thread, the police are most likely being silent because they have videos like we see today and evidence other than people seeing the final seconds of the shooting that will come out once things settle down. Thats what made me hold judgement initially. You're a woman Shari so I know you've had a man before (we all do it at some point in life) get jealous and accuse you of cheating or something and go into a rage and call you names, say they KNOW you did it and other crazy talk and you sit quietly letting us dig out own hole....then whip out facts that it looks a certain way if you want it to but the rush to judgement was uncalled for and now we look like idiots. Cops here waited for calm, released the robbery and name info and I'm sure over the weekend we'll get access to the medical record of the cop and possibly dashboard footage.
