TTWarrior in Love?
"Not sure if it was a good move or not and no clue why I did it, but I actually contacted a parent of someone I have a crush on in my tennis league to see what her situation is. I know, boneheaded move likely considering the parent hasn't responded when I told her I like their daughter. Probaly think I'm some kind of psycho now. Hey I'm different and have to do it my way. Even though its just a crush and we haven't even gone on a date, I've decided to go for it. If she says no, she says no and who knows maybe we won't even like each other after a date or who knows maybe just be friends or just remain tennis league partners. I don't know alot about her, but what I know, she is just awesome. Sometimes you just know. Sometimes your wrong, but it could be right.
I'm cool with whatever happens. You only live 2 or 3 times right? Around 8 pm Thursday I will be serenading her on the tennis court after my match. That's right I'll be going to my car, pulling out the ole guitar or keyboard and singing her a song. I'm not sure on what song yet, but I'll be practicing. I really think this girl is pretty and cute as can be and one of the nicest person's I've ever talked too even if it's only been mainly about tennis. I know there are plenty of things to not like about me, but I'm trying to improve myself in many ways and she even makes me want to do that. I can't think of one thing I dislike about her or her family.
I'm a total nervous wreck around her. I even lost my hearing when she was talking to me last week and said huh and what a couple times, and she had to repeat what she said, which probably didn't help my chances any. Odds are she'll say no. But if there is even a 1 percent chance she'll say yes, I'm going for it. I'lll be practicing and singing love songs and ballads the rest of the week. Most people probably don't know about my music skills. Actually runs in the family but I'm usually private about it. If even one person enjoys it, its worth it in my book. Someone might even cry. Wish me luck folks. I really need it. If anyone wants to come and watch. Just come out this Thursday at the water street courts in Henderson from 6:30 to around 8. I'll likely have another update later about this and maybe someone can suggest a good song. I'd prefer a 80's power ballad or love song."
