bad week for me and the god theory... my workout buddy passed away of an apparent double heart attack on tuesday morning... he was 32 ... had a new promotion at work, new gf with a young kid, was in training to defend a bodybuilding contest he won last spring... things were going well... bam, done ...
i had to disable facebook for a day too... too much god this and god that.. for a guy who doesnt believe god has anything to do with it or anything else, its too much to keep seeing... becomes more and more transparent every day that the god theory is a hoax .. i cant take the illogical excuses that are parroted by every god fearing person...prayers here and there... gods plan this or that...whoreshit...the guy died, you wont see him again and there is no other plan for him...

It would not surprise me if God, if He hasn’t already, one day makes you an integral part of leading someone to Him. Not just that you plant a seed that one day flourishes, but that you in fact are used by Him to help nurture that seed into God’s purpose.
While steadfast in his own convictions, Raydog may not be sure where to peg the faithful Christians who turn to the Lord…comforted or drained?
As an observer with experience let me just say this type of confusion can lead to further inquiry which, God willing, can lead to Jesus Christ.
Raydog...keep talking to Brainfreeze and earnestly investigate just what type of effect this “theory” has on people, and SBR just may eventually see a “miracle turnaround” when you proclaim Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.

By the way, I am a huge fan Dawkins and his writings. He has inspired me in many ways since I read his first book back in college. I've even used things I learned while studying him while teaching middle school kids during Sunday school at church. While he may not credit God, he's done a good job in some areas of really identifying and picking apart God's work. His methods and reasoning are usually pretty solid.
He represents just one grove of trees in a large forest. I admire and respect that grove in many ways while also recognizing it's place among the trees.
I wonder what many would think or do if he went on to profess Jesus Christ as his savior. It'd probably shatter some worlds...lol...certainly not mine.
