Tell you truth.... I've seen lights a lot stranger then that in my own backyard and a lot closer... I've seen my mother tell a man where he got a scar on his forehead and how old he was when he did it ... Again, I don't know if any of those particular vids were real, I don't hedge my faith on that, but people see balls of light just like that all the time,there's thousands of stories, if you don't want to believe... What's your point brain? God doesn't exist through evidence, especially in the way that a western brain and culture attempts at synthesizing these. He exists in reality through us experiencing Him.

These guys have been lead astray by consumerist western hyper-individualism and the distorted christianity that the West produced, with much innovation. They reject it and go for eastern religions because they have no idea what christianity's balance is, nor its history, and so they go all the way to a depersonalized "god"/creation, which is equally as extreme.

Agreed, i will never carry a disagreement into another thread. I was once like you and wasn't much of anything anyone was gonna tell me about the "Big pie in the sky" BS. I just happened into an incident that could not be explained other than if evil exist good must exist. I witnessed good win a battle, and rest is history. Many people have a come to Jesus moment through various reasons and most of it is from bad descions they've made from evil influences. I was unique in that i had no vices and probably wouldn't have turned to God if not for the unique circumstanses i walked into that i mentioned earlier in this thread.

If you're referring to what happens during our life time, I can think of endless examples that would give meaning to life independent of god.

Life is pointless without a God, trust me if I thought there were no God, Id be doing all types of sneaky stuff to get paid, everything in my power without getting caught, online stealing you name it, I dont do these things now not for fear of being caught, but rather another fear, but thats just me. This life here on earth is short, very short in comparison to what lies next, just my belief. No sense in having morals really if you dont believe there is a God.
