Happy Canada Day!!!!!!!!!!! My across the street neighbours are from Van so they took the day off and as it's school holidays we had a bit of a block party happening earlier. Piss off. Where else have you been? Toronto is constantly called a cleaner, better NYC. Vancouver is glorious. Even the small towns in Canada are wonderful. The only thing the US has on Canada is warmer weather in the southern states and since you're not in one of them, you should be doing what you can to try to sneak your way into a country that will allow you to gamble and live amongst people who won't shoot you.

If I could move back home, I would in a second. Some day. It saddens me that my son might never know the glory of taking a boat on Lake Superior as a kid or even ice fishing. When I say excuse me when I'm forced to walk between someone and what they're looking at in a grocery aisle or my son says "pardon me" when he needs something repeated, people look at us like we have two heads. Why would there be French influence in Vancouver?!! I suggest you take a look at the history of Van vs Seattle. George Vancouver who founded both places ended up in Vancouver first.

The fact Toronto is a multicultural city is what makes it so special.
