He slowed them down as well . Watched taht episode you are talking about online last night.

It blew a breath of revitalizing air into the series when Matt showed up and they gave Cody(barefoot hippie) the boot.

Good show, used to watch back when it was Cody Lundin and Dave Canterbury. The new guy seems good, although I'll miss Cody's one-liners. Guy was hilarious.

Dual Survival is better than Survivorman and Man vs Wild imo.

If we can learn to ignore Matts "ghandi-ish" moments , he is a breath of fresh air to the show....

Cody shit was getting tired, he admits it himself in that episode above.

There is still at least 10 episodes of this show I haven't seen so it gives me something to watch

at work over the next week or so

Used to dig season 1 and 2, 3 good also. Lately turned into sort of a freak show with rambo and the offshoot.
Not watching anymore. Ratings going up though, so people seem to enjoy it.
Been a fan of History's Mountain Men. Real deal.

The new guy Matt is the best survivalist the show has ever had. He has the fire making abilities of Cody but is athletic and can hunt. He was catching fish with that atlatl like nothing

3 episodes, the new guy speared a wild boar, couple of trout, and caught a chicken with his bare hands unreal

yeah, plus his positive perspective along with a insane amount of knowledge is nice to have.

Dif from Matt and the other fella is that Matt has lived this way for 2 decades.

Other dude was only in the Marines for 2 years and deployed for a couple months.....

No way! Cody was awesome. That guy was funny as hell. They are now on the 4th cast member. Idk it doesn't even seem like the same show.

Im sorry for judging you based on a few episodes towards the end of your departure.

Now that I have watched damn near every episode of the series

I am realizing how big of a impact he did have on the show.

Still happy they got that Matt fella, but no reason to compare the two guys, both great at what they do .

In closing, id like to say I would cuddle up next to you by a fire you made primitively... any day of the week Cody
