Vince McMahon loses $350 Million in One Day
Even for someone who is familiar with beatings, Vince McMahon could not have been prepared for the drubbing that he had in store last week.
According to Forbes, McMahon, the chairman and CEO of WWE, lost $350 million in a span of 24 hours.

The loss was the result of a few factors, including lack of confidence in WWE's new online streaming network and a somewhat lackluster new TV deal. The new online streaming network has only picked up 700,000 subscribers since launching, and WWE said it expects the network to lose between $45 million and $52 million this year.

The new TV deal, while still impressive, is far smaller than what some investors thought. WWE's contract with NBCUniversal to keep its hit shows "Raw" and "Smackdown" is worth around $150 million annually, which is half or one third of what many initially thought it would earn.
Together, the weak performance of the online streaming network and Thursday night's announcement of the new TV deal led WWE's stock to drop $8.86 (from $20.13 to $11.27).
That resulted in a huge loss for McMahon, whose net worth peaked at $1.6 billion in March. Then, Forbes reported, "shares dropped 29% the week after WWE announced its new online streaming network had only 667,000 subscribers, taking a $325 million chunk out of McMahon's fortune."
The stock's next big tumble Friday wiped out another $350 million -- nearly a third of his value.

A lack of confidence in the product and falling shares have dropped his fortune to an estimated $750 million.

Never knew this scumbag had that kind of dough. Knew he was rich, but a billionaire . Anyways, Vince is still rich, but you gotta think he feels like jumping off a bridge after losing that kind of cash in a short time period.

I have a couple of questions for people who are into stocks about this situation...

              1. How can someone who's in total control... a billionaire lose 1/3 of their total net worth in one day?

              2. What inside tip told investors to sell last Friday?

              3. What was Vince McMahon doing behind the scenes? Or ready to do for the future that possibly caused this?

              4. Is this a sign that other company's will soon flop because of inflated numbers?

                1. Share price drop, if most of ur net worth is in the company, like I assume his is, then the daily moves change ur net worth daily. Big example would b elon musk with tesla.
                2. I haven't followed this, but I think the sell off was after the news
                3. Can't answer
                4. No, isolated incident, didn't hit subscription projections and market reacted

May be a good time to invest in the stock at a cheap price. A lot of really hot stocks have been pulling back the last few months.

Konck... you're on fantasy island. I know you love wrestling and stuff... but he won't rebound from this. There's something going on behind the scenes that the majority of the public doesn't know that effected this movement. Yes, I remember the XFL or whatever the hell it was... that was a total dump. But when you lose 1/3 of your bread and butter... you aren't so calculating. The WWE can't be any BIGGER or BETTER. They have maxed out. The only way they can go now... is DOWN. Clearly inflated numbers.

can't go down any further when you're already at the bottom. It's like buffet's saying of buying quality products aat discount prices, WWE was clearly on a discount.

                          stock up 25%

Buffet made that comment about socks too; buy quality at a cheap price. Great comment.
