Yes , crime is really bad. The problem is warm weather attracts the type of people who commit crime.

In North Dakota they say its too cold for crime.

where i live you will see hoodlums walking in the middle of the street at 3am in the summer time. But in the winter they are too cold to go outside.

and about SF yes its more expensive but you also make more money. miami is a rathole where you cant make sh1t but real estate is 2x that of orlando or tampa

Visited Florida for the first time this winter. Traveled the whole state.Great place to vacation. Would never want to live there. Miami tons of traffic it took 20 minutes to get to Gulfstream Park from the Aventura Mall by car m wife walked back to the hotel and beat me there.I loved it there visiting. I love living in Iowa most of the time. The weather back here is what makes it bad.It Snows from Jan-Mar. April - June it thunders and lighting almost every night and then there is Tornados.July - Oct 100 Degrees 100 percent humidity.Late September -Oct is the Nicest quietest time 70 and Sunny.Why am I here I work from home,all the companies I work for are here.The best thing is my house if my house was n Calif or Ny it would be 10 times more.Cheap housing and laidback lifestyle are the best things about Iowa.
