Of course it would have short circuited the plot line/series but given that we know Jack does what is necessary to achieve his objective, was anybody else wondering whey he didn't shoot the girl immediately when she didn't drop the case? I didn't DVR it but it appeared he had a clean, up close shot. Girl down, case recovered, threat gone and he is in prison again until he escapes? Maybe I didn't see it right...
