Achilles went lame on his back leg and I just got diagnosed with throat cancer!

We are more worried about the dog than myself at this point. He goes to the Vet on Thursday and I have surgery next Friday.
You know, the roller coaster is much more fun than the Ferris Wheel!

I guess that is what makes life interesting.

I had to make out a Will today, just in case, so my wife would be protected. How depressing!
I was a good boy: the house and cars are all paid for, life insurance, and accidentl death, etc.

The dog will more than likely cost more than me!

good luck with the fight. just curious did you have a history of acid reflux or chewing tobacco? not even sure if chew could lead to this but i know acid reflux may and ive had to deal with that bi.tch for years. hopefully achilles makes a speedy recovery also

Achilles had his appointment and they are going to try Rimadyl for a week and see how it goes. He is only 6.5 yrs old, but is 5'10" 130 lbs. -- not fat at all, just huge. Even with a muzzle on, the Vet and Assistants were scared to death of him.

I got stage II tonsil cancer and polyps on my larnyx. Thank god nothing is in the lymph nodes. He is going to remove the tonsil and laser off the polyp. Recovery for a 50yr old is gonna be pretty tough, my wife may want to have me put down, LOL.

Stage II tonsil cancer has 58% 5yr survival rate. Guess I'll take being a slight favorite on a future prop bet.
The leading cause for this type of cancer, just guessed it, smoking and drinking.

Please stop smoking! You don't think it will happen to you, but it does.

If I am on here posting some weird sh*t next week or so, it's from the pain meds.

Aspirin and vitamin D3 are supposedly cancer preventers according to the ABC TV doctor.
I take a 325mg and 5000 IU of D3 along with a multi vitamin.

I've quit smoking using the Nicoderm CQ step down patch with the help of St Johns wart (herb).
