Back in the mid 90's I bought a 10 pump Benjamin air pistol to shoot varmints that inhabited my yard, and I set up a target in my kitchen and was in my living room trying to sight it in. I was using BB's instead of field pellets(because I was out of them), which required me to drop it down the front of the barrel and I would place my finger over the end so it didn't roll out until I was ready to shoot. You can probably see where this is going.

I was also drinking at the time which probably contributed to the outcome of this story. Anyways after about 2 hours of fukking around with this gun and shooting the target, I dropped a BB down and aimed the gun and shot, only I didn't remove my index finger from the front of the gun. The BB went into the bottom of my finger, ricocheted off of the bone and then blew out the side of the fingernail and hit the ceiling. I immediately grabbed my finger and squeezed it for about 30 seconds because I knew it was fukked up. I finally looked at it and it was all mangled and was bleeding pretty badly. I didn't go to the hospital or anything, I just taped the shit out of it. It took forever to heal and I still don't have any feeling in the tip of that finger.

I took one straight through from an ak overseas years ago. I remember it burning like you can't imagine but the pain not being horrible at the time, probably a lot of shock. After is when the pain sets in. Imagine if you didn't work out your abs for a long time and then all of the sudden you do a real hard workout. That pain you feel every time you try and move your stomach, it was a lot like that all the time. The first couple days I was kinda scared that if I moved I would tear the wound back open.

If it is below your Pecs and above your balls...good chance you die.....saw a guy get stabbed in the bladder with a fuckkn cane sword...thought it "wasn't so Bad" until his shit was leaking into his body and his blood looked black....cops got called and he went into a 9 hour surgery to save his life...this was at a house "party:.....

It obviously depends on the location of the wound I can imagine as well.

Once the shock quickly wears off it hurts like hell. One bullet went clean through and the other did a little damage to bicep. The drip cures the pain and you do your p.t. to get back to normal.
