It fried it so now Im on a brand new pc

You'll probably have to break down and get a new one, or put in a new motherboard --- which if you have someone like Geek Squad doing it, will cost you quite a bit.

There is a chance airing it out will work -- a small chance. The thing about soda is the sugar/syrup will stick to your motherboard and just make using that laptop hell.

I spilled coffee all over my keyboard last year but was able to save my laptop.

ordered a brand new keyboard (after geeksquad told me nothing could be done about it) for $46, replaced it myself which I had no confidence in but on that website they have videos showing and it was pretty easy.
A few months later +the motherboard started acting up so took it to a local store and he changed the motherboard for plus backed up all data (which was not accessible because of the blank screen) on a drive and all for $200.
