I have a Kenneth Cole suit I bought for $500 at the outlet mall that I've gotten lots of compliments on. My pricey Jack Victor suit, which I fukking love, hasn't gotten one.

Obviously I was being a wise guy here but I said it to illustrate that price isn't the be all and end all. If you get pinstripes look under the arms to make sure they align. Some small clothiers make tremendous suits for much less than the name designers.

I see swinging made a comment about the pinstripes. A BIG tell on a quality suit is the seam on the shoulders. It should be smooth not a bump on the upper shoulder.
