It's pretty pricey. About $1500, I think. It'll probably cost about half of that in a year or so...

In the short term only a trivial amount. One can only guess what adoption rates of Glass, and it's derivative versions, will eventually be. To get "first-mover advantage" in this potentially huge market COULD be a great thing.

Agree about the first mover potential. If it's not going to be a volume app seller product there may be less competition to create that killer product too.

I'll definitely have google glass in the future when it actually becomes useful. The benefit of being able to protect yourself from the largest gang in America, the police, will be worth that alone.
