I take my sports book winnings every year add about 300% and then pay for my sports book losses.

If I go on a good run I tend to leave the bulk of it in the account (top tier books only) and withdraw it if or when I want to treat myself to something or for extra spending money when I go on a trip or something.

Might sound stupid, but mentally I find that if I refund to my bank and leave it there then I am less likely to blow it on some luxury item that I want, but don't need - whereas if it is in my betting account then I tend to think of it as "bonus money" outside what I work for and live on, and therefore I can be a bit more frivolous with it.
