      There coming out next year and skateboards that fly heard they will be called hoverboards.By this time next year will be sick of BTTF Part 2 references.

        Those hoverboard vids are fake. There won't be flying skateboards anytime soon.

          I highly doubt we'll ever see cars flying through the air in our lifetime. There will be no way to regulate it and it would be too dangerous for the people on the ground.

            Most of the danger would be in the air. Even though there's more room to maneuver up there (no trees, buildings, pedestrians etc to contend with), if it became widely adopted how would they work out flight paths? Your average driver/pilot won't have the precision of a snowbirds pilot.

              That is pretty much what I mean and then crashes would be dangerous to the unsuspecting people on the ground. Automatic flight paths would almost have to be controlled by computers.
