    Pearl Jam!
Don't they need to go down as one of the top 10 bands of all time? They have the ability to rock it out, slow it down and speak lyrics that I have never had the words to express . For whatever reason they speak to me like not many bands can do. Oobviously the bands like Zepp, Blind Melon, Smashing Pumpkins. But Eddie Vedder lyrics just seem to get to me.

    Oh dear dad
    Can you see me now
I am myself like you somehow
I'll ride where it takes me
    I hold the pain
    Release me

I just watched 20 on Netflix the other night.

I never knew "Daughter" was originally "Brother"

Well, I cant tell by the above responses if you guys are on my side or simply mocking PJ. I am 41 years old and have been around since the start of the PJ career. Their longevity speaks for themselves. Maybe its just my opinion that they are a top 10 all-time band, but I truly believe that with all my hear.

I am not mocking anything. I turn 40 very soon. I can still vividly remember the day that I bought Ten on it's release in late summer when I started as a senior in high school. That was probably one of the first 50 CDs that I owned after I bought my first Pioneer 6 disc CD changer.

I Love Pearl Jam. They are definitely not a band that you will ever see playing after the pig races at the local county fair.
