Heading up Thurs. for the 2nd rd games (late session has both Philly area teams playing). Can anyone recommend any bars / clubs / etc. to go to after the games? Thanks

What type of scene are you looking for? Can basically walk anywhere and they'll be a bar nearby...some solid strip joints, Allen St. is good for bar hopping though some dive type bars. Buffalo is fun until like 3 AM when people wanna be tough.Comment -
Soho is on Chippewa and is within a mile or two of arena with music/bar
Coles is more of a college bar and is about 8 mins from arena
pearl street brewery is a few hundred feet from arena and brews their own beer and is a good restaurant
lagerhaus 95 is very close to arena and has german beer/menu and is pricey
my fav are pearl street brewery and Coles
obviously if you have time make it to Duffs, it's better than Anchor Bar
stay away from cobblestone bar and iron works by arena, they suckComment -
Oh and by the way, there are two side streets near michigan avenue which is across from casino, you can park for free on these side streets and a walk is 5-7 mins to arena, these are E and W market streetComment -
A lot of hamburgers live in Buffalo and you freeze your balls off
