Havent yet seen the first episode of True Detective yet, but did catch Ballers last night. It seemed okay, I'll definitely continue to watch. Seemed like a weaker version of Entourage. It was only a half hour, so hard to determine how good the show was with only seeing a half hour of it.

Loved Breaking Bad...I guess that one ended about as well and timely as it could due to how long you could really keep a story going based on the characters. Beats the writers getting stupid and deviating from what made it addictive...sort of like trying to do the Better Call Saul spinoff that was horrible. You're right though, Thrones should be able to go for a long time because it does have so many twists and story lines so even when we get bored with one part the rest of the characters pick up the slack. Personally I was bored with the whole 'i am nobody' schtick with Arya, some of the plots with the TT Warrior look alike Sam on the Wall and his baby.
