First of all, it's not a value bet. Payoff may sound huge at first glance but when you calculate the probablity, it's a very bad bet.

You know what they say. Easy come, easy go. Winning 100 Million Dollars in one night and earning 1 Million Dollars in 3 years are completely different things. Lottery Winners' end is usually suicide or getting broke.

Winning 40-50 Million Dollars in one night may sound great/amazing but I can guarantee that it won't make you happy, "over the long haul". It won't make you peaceful. You will be surrounded by fake friends. Worst, you will lose the joy and thrill of life.

Winning lottery is like using cheat in a computer game. Unlimited Gold, God Mode on, Unlimited health. You buy all best quipment in level 1 and game is not exciting anymore. Because you lost the thrill, the challenge of the game.
