Was actually a bigger fan of the hip-hop version "Sometimes I Rhyme Slow" by Nice-n-Smooth, but I liked them both and played it quite a bit back in the day.
So I never watched this video. Never actually looked at a closeup pic of this girl.
Always thought it was a dude with a light voice and dreadlocks.
Was just you-tubing lyrics for the song and realized Tracy Chapman is a chick
If you didn't see a picture of the singer it could pass for either a man or a woman.
