Kerry's interview this weekend plus his hollow visit to Kiev today solidifies it. Putin is having a field day with the current policy leaders. He's just waiting for Obama to try economic sanctions....and off go the gas supplies to Ukraine plus Italy and France and Germany etc. He's getting revenue streams from the sale of weapons is Syria as well. The EU needs Russia right now, too big of a risk to alienate them at this point.

They are playing both sides. Communists in the white house and proto-communist's in Russia are working to destroy the new communist free leadership that rules ukraine. Play both sides, old tactic, new game. All part of a longer term plan. One billion dollars is chump change in this situation.
