#4I work from home. Fortunately, my company has the resources and technology to allow it. I log into my company's vpn every morning and do my work. Working from home is the wave of the future for all real Fortune 500 companies that has the software to allow it. Way more productive this way. Save about 2 hours a day from sitting in traffic, pollution to the environment, gas, dry cleaning costs for clothes....just to name a few of the perks.
I would never go back to driving into the office ever again.Comment -

Technology industry is also leaning towards working from home. I have a friend that works for Apple and a lot of their employees get to work from home as well.
It also depends a lot on the company.Comment -

#10You know what's funny is whenever I have my meetings with the executives, it's always virtual meetings on camera with the computer. Sometimes if I get lazy, I'll be dressed in a shirt and tie on the top and my boxers on the bottom.

There are lots of people that do affiliate marketing that make 50K-300K/yr from home. Look up ClickBank, do a few google searches, find people who do well at it, ask them what to do/what not to do.Comment -

I got my start in affiliate marketing, and while I still do it (mainly JV's with other product owners) from time to time, I have moved on to developing my own products. The money is excellent, I love marketing, working from home is always a plus, and ultimately - having the freedom to do what I want, when I want. It's awesome getting all my errands done in the morning when everybody else is at work.Comment -

#27SBR is a rather large affiliate. You see those sportsbook banners at the top of the page? Well, if you click on one of them and then make a deposit, that sportsbook will pay SBR a percentage of the money that you gave the sportsbook (usually a percentage of your losses, but the sportsbook could also just be paying a flat fee per contract period).Originally posted by Big Bearaight i'm looking at clickbank and they keep refering to having an online audience like if i'm blogger etc...

so i have to come up with a website where i can attract people for whatever reason and then i can set up partnerships where i have links that people can click on to buy various products or various services?
so can people do this thru twitter or facebook ?
how hard/expensive would it be to create a forum like SBR?Comment -

#29Creating a forum is simple. Advertising a forum that people want to repeatedly visit is the difficult part. You've missed the "good ole days" of affiliate marketing. Google Adwords used to allow just about any kind of legal offer, and now they've made it quite hard to buy traffic if you're an affiliate. Facebook still allows affiliate offers, but you'll have to really stay on top of your game for that one.Originally posted by Big Bearoh i see.

If you want to succeed as an affiliate, it takes quite a bit of work nowadays, and some money to get started. Buying traffic (media buys) is pretty much king.
I don't really have a resource to give you; the whole business is pretty much just learning as you go. I'd say the best one i've seen lately might be bringthefresh.com, but I don't pay a whole lot of attention to the whole 'make money online' scene (at least not the end product - their advertising campaigns, marketing emails, videos and websites pretty much tell me everything I would want to know anyway).Comment -

Health, wealth, relationships. Those are the 3 general/umbrella niches (with tons of sub-niches underneath them) that everybody will always need help with (they will always be willing to pay you to help them solve a problem they're having). Figure out what you want to help people with, and go after it.Comment
