My dog is 11 and I just spent 1500 to take a growth off his back. He is acting like hes six years old. I didnt test the growth because Im not going to put an 11 year old through chemo......get it removed and see if it returns.

I have had dogs all my life and never understood why people pay crazy amounts of money to vets. Dog has cancer, let dog go. Buy new dog. Is the vet offering chemo after the surgery? How does he know it isn't matasticising?

dude its not the easiest thing to just let your dog go after you have had it for a long time .. but i agree why make the dog suffer through it all

Not good man. Time to make a decision. Can't have her suffer. My 9 year old lab had lymphoma a few years ago. Dog was at my side ever hour of the day. Vets gave her about 3 months to live without treatment. I ended up getting her treatment and she lasted another 14 months. Probably ended up costing around 5k over that period of time...best 5k I ever spent though.
