2 days prior to the super bowl brock was named "poster of the month" in a contest sponsored by..... u guessed it hrwager. and what supposedly won it for him was his thread offering seahawks+3.5 (even) which sounded like a free rolling scam from the start.

and immediately after the sb, brock comes clean and admits it was a free rolling scam but good news!!!!! the head guy from hrwager will make good on it and hope that a well known scammer/stiff brock pays him back plus interest!

of course what really happened was.... eog/hrwager told brock to make the thread and in exchange he would be named poster of the month and paid $50. being a brokedik, brock happily accepted. if it lost hrwager would step in and pay, looking like an angel in the process and gaining good will and clients but it blew up in their faces instead. maybe the plan wouldve worked had they waited a few weeks and let brock get buried first. but the fact it was done mins after the sb reeks of pre-planning which it obviously was. and the fact they associated themselves with the devil didnt help either.

Technically not a stiff job if HRwager is covering Brock's losses but he deserves all the hammering people want to give him for betting with people when he doesn't have the money to pay if/when he loses. It's never okay to do that.

guys who placed these bets had to expect this outcome if they won. At least he is showing face and making "promises" to square up his debt. I'm sure there were a few guys trying to free roll brock themselves here and got lucky they won. Placing wagers with people you only know via the internet usually plays out this way. I'm fairly knew to this site and I feel like I've read an encyclopedia on brock landers and the scams he has pulled off since i've joined. You guys that placed the bets were playing with fire from the get go. good luck to all that are owed and to Brock. Hopefully you get back on your feet and into the winners circle again soon. Or maybe just goto some GA meetings and give this shiat up for a while for the sake of your loved ones.
