NHL Attendance Figures Surpassing NBA..HOCKEY IS WINNING!
People getting sick and tired of monkeyball.

According to the latest attendance records, the NHL is averaging more sellout crowds than the NBA.

Throughout the 2013-14 season, 15 NHL markets have averaged at least 100 percent capacity in their home stands: The Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, Minnesota Wild, Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, San Jose Sharks and Winnipeg Jets.

Here in Iowa we have a D league Team and a Brand New AHL Team. The hockey team has been beating the D league team easy and that is with crappy dates like sunday night and Tuesday night. The d league team got all the Friday and Saturday night dates. But that should change after this season after the arena people look at the attendance figs.

Well, I'll tell you here in Philly that hockey beats the shit out of the NBA.

The Flyers used to have their AHL affiliate, the Phantoms, play just across the street from them at the old Spectrum. The way the schedule makers did it, the Flyers and Phantoms would never play on the same day.

Well, somebody screwed up one time and put the Flyers and Phantoms on at the same night.

Both games sold out to full capacity which meant over 40,000. It was the first time in North American history that an NHL club and their AHL affiliate sold out on the same night, at the same time, in the same city.

The Sixers, nobody gives a fukk about unless they are great and winning abd even then still don't get anywhere near the love the Flyers do. Otherwise, the NBA is dead last here.
