To make a long story as short as possible...
I found Betmotion.com through SBR with a C rating and after reading the signup bonus T&C without seeing any problems, I decided to put on 100 euros. A month later I had doubled my money and they emailed me to tell me I was playing from a banned country (UK) and that they'd be keeping my winnings. Apparently this was buried somewhere in the sites regular T&C, but not mentioned at all in the bonus one. Of all the sites I've played on I've never once needed to read beyond the bonus T&C to find out relevant info, but still, my mistake for not being more thorough.
However, the real problem isn't with the rule itself or where it's stated, but with the way it's enforced. Every other gambling site in the world automatically blocks people from "banned countries" from depositing (usually from registering at all, it's VERY simple to do), but this one happily takes your money... keeps it if you win and also keeps it if you lose. They are freerolling every "banned" player who doesn't read every single section of their T&C with a fine toothed comb (let's be honest, this is 95% of people if not more).
When I asked them if they would have returned my deposit if I had lost they said no because "It is the sole responsibility and liability of the User to verify whether play-for-money is prohibited in his country of residence stay or use of the Site."
Surely this type of obvious scam policy warrants an F rating on this site, no?
