SBR hitting rockbottom with ghost accounts lately.

Really crappy the last month or 2.
Sad SBR doesn't do anything about. Makes you figure half of the accounts are theirs.

I just deposited 350 and in an impuslive frenzy threw it all on Saints ML

It requires too much work and IP blocking of the wrong people, best to let it go and ban them when they act up, most of the time ghosts fly away when they do not get the attention and are exposed here like CK7,,its part of any forum lets deal with it and have fun.

I'm less concerned about the psychological problems around ghost accounts & more concerned with Betpoint manipulation factor.
I just paid the largest amount of Betpoints I have ever used (hold the Broke Dikk Fukk coments for now) to enter the $5,000.00 College Bowl Contest here & I find it discomforting, at the least, that I have to worry about how members are getting more than their reported share of chances to win the contest.
It's not right that this is allowed for obviuos reasons, in the poker room, where I might find myself playing against 3 accounts run by one user.

But this is absolutely untrue. I can say a lot of things about SBR but I promise you they've never fukked over posters with this stuff. No scams in poker, no scams with points. Never. I would blow that whistle in a millisecond but it just didn't happen. Now? I can't say definitively 100% but I strongly suspect not. xo

I'm not speaking to what % wins or whatever the system is set up for the house. I don't even know if they can control that although I'm sure they can. But I am truly saying that no one while I worked here for 3+ years was sneaking into poker and scamming whatever. Nothing was set in our favour. There were no new accounts set up to run like Gods or whatever that Mike thought. That's all I was disputing. Anything else as far as the stats and whatnot is concerned... no clue. But fake people set up? No way.

And you bet your booty I'll be back for tennis... hopefully with some people willing to come with me to the matches?! I went with the gorgeous Mat to a Carlton match awhile back and he promised to come to tennis with me but we could always use some more SBR'ers! xo

Every single thing around here is based on the worst case scenario. The biggest fright for a site like this or any other one that deals with rewards (say Flybuys in Australia or whatever the heck they're called in the US). It's the case of someone randomly winning an exorbitantly large amount on one day who no one prepared for. You facilitating the transfer of points over from someone else to you doesn't hurt SBR as those are already accounted for as soon as they're paid in daily log in points. You're only winning points off each other.Those points are already in someone's 'hands' with poker It's when someone wins an extraordinary amount from the casino that it hurts... they still get paid but those points weren't already floating around so it stings. If that makes sense?
