eastbound was great....sopranos too(got to meet the cast as they all dined at a restuarant i worked at) a few months before gandolfini passed......have to admit i was getting into "luck" before it got canceled

1, 3 and 4. 2nd season was OK just took a while to get going, the last season stunk but the last 2 episodes were good. My second favorite show on HBO, boardwalk empire, I thought this past season was terrible.

Just finished season 1 of the Wire and watched a few episodes of season 2

now normally i really only watch comedies b/c i like stuff that makes me laugh and i dont usually like
scary stuff or a bunch of violence and all... but this show has me hooked.

I can't stop watching it and i even think i'd like to be a detective after watching it. The acting is really good and there are so many characters. It really shows you everyones point of view so there is no clear cut
"good guy" its just very interesting

Shit man im sorry didnt know you hadnt seen it or i wouldnt have commented on some of it, show is addicting aint it? I bought the series on DVD and been watching an episode or two on average every day for the last few years. Its the greatest show in the history of television in my opinion.

Season 2 gets so much better the more times you watch The Wire. I've watched the series through about 5 times. But ya, season 5 goes too far off the rails. That being said, season 5 > any season of anything else out there.

Years ago, HBO had a show they put together once a month. I think the word "America" was in it. Very interesting and informative. One episode I remember was about Richard Kuklinski, The Iceman. That big mob hit man on the east coast.

That 2 hour interview was amazing.

The movie was lame though.

Winona Ryder did look good in it.

sopranos, but larry sanders had its awesome moments... rip torn was awesome.... i remember when the one dude was turning into a sex addict and rip and shandling were watching out an office window, while the dude (who also played ari in "entourage") was bangin' her in a convertable, and rip says, "geeze, if he bangs her any harder he's gonna blow the tires out of that car!" good stuff....
