An entrepreneur says hackers stole $1million of the virtual currency bitcoin from his website.

The Australian man, who refused to be identified citing fears for his safety, said thieves compromised his site and took a haul of virtual currency.

Bitcoin is a digital-only currency traded from computer to computer and is usually used to pay for goods online.

The dailymail reporting based on a random guy making a non-verifiable claim... you'll believe just about anything you read on the internet won't you?

Except the only reason it's a non-verifiable claim is because the guy reporting it is the only one with access to it and he doesn't want to give his info. away. I wouldn't either. Once you get his info. you basically control his account which is supposed to be anonymous.
