If I get lucky enough to make it to 40, I'm gonna have a crises.
I had a semi-crises at 30. It really sets in that you can no longer bang high school girls.

So what was harder, turning 30 or turning 40? My old man told me that turning 50 has been the hardest so far.

Thanks everyone. Sbr has been great as I can relate to most on here as we have a lot of common ground.
Chili- Turning 30 for me was the toughest. I lived my 20's 10 foot tall and bulletproof. At 30 I realized I had to make some lifestyle changes if I wanted to be happier in the future. Honestly the big 40 is nothing. Things are routine and stable. I have a beautiful wife and amazing daughter. I recognize the blessings I do have and appreciate them. Turning 50 I suppose is more of the issue of the body not doing what the mind is willing to do. Cross that bridge when I get there.
Shout out to the fly me crew......my hat goes off to these guys, they put up with all my sh*t over the years even from the old PB days across the street. I know these guys are genuinely good peeps.

I'm still living that 10ft tall and bulletproof life. Over the summer my buddy I grew up with asked me if I was still living the porno lifestyle hah. I know it's all bullshit and I have to stop at some point.

reigle9 - the truth is I wouldn't be posting on a betting forum if I truly had my shit together. You just have to sit back and look at life and decide what you want and go for it. I actually quit gambling for a near 5 years stretch but I determined that I wasn't happy trying to force myself to be someone I am not. I am an addict and I know it. Learning how to harness it makes life more manageable for me.
Moderation and money management is the key. While we all say we do it for the $$...it's actually the thrill of the chase that we become addicted to. Thats when the endorphins get released.

I have to disagree. I'm very lazy and smart enough to make money being a degen. I'll always bet. I'm fortunate enough to have my house/cars paid for, I just need to make enough to pay bills.
The having my shit together part was about the drinking and whoring. While I'll never have a kid, a wife at some point should probably be in the cards.

Honestly, looking back do you wish you had done anything really important differently? Or perhaps didn't do something you wished you had?

Stay healthy pal. I'm right behind ya.
35 was a turning point/betta recognize type year for me but everyone ages at their own pace.
