Law enforcement has become something it was never intended to be. Cops basically just collect money for the city. And it works on a points system...for example... Speeding ticket gives you 1 point. So when u go have ur review with ur boss he can see u have 50 points or whatever. but guess what... a murder investigation is only 1 point too.

Yes, because as others point out, they don't end up doing anything we actually respect an overwhelming amount of the time in most places. They collect money and hassle people, whether it's them or the system it is ultimately irrelevant. Tickets, acting like they protect safety with speeding zones or drunk driving, they know that all the rules that they uphold rarely keep people safe or matter. How do we know? They routinely break these rules themselves and know they're a crock.

dont do the crime if you cant do the time. master criminals dont get caught. but i feel you, cops stink sometimes. cops have a choice whether or not to enforce laws and how they go about doing it. its just part of the game. each side is doing what they can to win. there are def cool cops though who look the other way on minor shit.

There's so much human garbage living in America, I prefer more cops and more prisons and am willing to directly pay for it via increased taxes if need be.

Can't stand pigs. You just can't trust them. Some are socially awkward, hide behind the shield. I'm sure there is a good 1 out of 10. But most are disgruntled individuals. I'm not speaking bios, I have a clean record & never been arrested.

yes, they are a necessary evil...EVIL.....but that doesn't mean that I have to respect them....they are there for the paycheck...AND MORE...nothing to get excited about.....they just need to do their jobs serving the public good, and check their grudges, ego's and personal agenda's at the door....
