As for the rest of the thread I think we need to define what a "BENDER" is. 12 beers for 2 weeks str8 is a bender?

So what do you call 5 nights in a casino drinking a bottle or 2 of vodka/whiskey a day with who knows how many beers, coupled with Yayo and MDMA and maybe a few hours of sleep sprinkled in.

But too each their own...

also i have been drinking for a few months but "heavy" for those 2 weeks. heavy for me

anyways i feel good today, ran a little of the booze off yesterday. tons of water. good food......tough to sleep but i didnt get up when i woke up in the early am i just laid there and eventually went back to sleep.

my problem with drinking ill go 2 weeks without it run, eat right sleep and ill feel really good. thats when i say "oh yeah some booze and id feel great", some big game going on too (theres always a big game lol)..............but really you need 2-3 months of healthy living in order to not total your body if you have a mini-bender, so you have to resist the temptaion for a while

Here is a thought....Maybe everytime you get the "ice beer" shakes...dont run to a benzo.....save the benzo's for the real shit...otherwise you will start to become super anxious over time and not even be able to leave the house without a pill....by overeating the pills, your actually fuckkn making it worse on yourself...its tough when your "normal" becomes 2mg of Xanax...had to be that chill w out the pill...."why am I anxious"..cause usually 2-5mg of xanax is floating around in your system lol...Either way GL....but its all in your head...take control sir haha

i hear you and all the warnings about benzo addiction. its the worst thing to get addicted to

not a big fan of benzos myself. i dont like downers i like having energy so i only take them when i really need them, but this is when they are huge...........which is after you have been drinking for a few nights and your body is used to the liquor to go to sleep. and you try no booze and you lay there for hours. a little benzo to settle the heart rate is sweet...........i never take them in the day

moving into a new place in a week, will devout one room to a home gym. will lose 40 lbs. this if i survive this week of constant beer



my goal is tomorrow to only have 6 beers thru the day. that way at night i can jog and the next day 4 beers ect

by saturday i will be sober, then i get new carpet in my new place and start moving in monday

plus when i did do it i ate an extra 2000 calories a day. i really only like stimulants and thats why i like booze it is a stimulant for the first few hours, then you just eat and go to sleep

alcohol is actually a cns depressant; it's the sugars in alcohol that give you a boost. and i hear yah on the munchies from weed, i can't smoke weed either for the same reason, i'll eat like crazy and just get fat.

do you like any type of exercise? whether it be lifting weights or maybe mountain biking, swimming, playing any kind of sport, etc? just anything to help you relax without having to depend on alcohol.

chili i can easily break the habit. ive gone 40+ days a few times this year without a drop. lost weight felt real good ect

problem is when you are in a bender (mini bender) whatever its tough to get out of. you have to be real disciplined and taper off correctly. and its hard to drink 8 beers one night when your body wants 12

plus i get so fukin bored after all that neurotransmitter spiking on the alcohol. fukin sucks.

but overall im hydrating and eating with all this drinking so ill make it

pretty sure ill have a home in colorado springs that will have 2-3 open bedrooms for recovering boozers. no gayness. no alcohol. nightly bible meetings for just 30 minutes. rent is $200 a month they have to make that happen. ill give them spinach/fruit shakes for health
