Long story short I called 24 hour fitness to cancel my membership 4 months ago (train at a MMA gym now). Those crooks at 24s never canceled and said I owe, so I told them to fuk off I ain't paying you shit it's not my fault you got retards working the phones at customer service. Of course they sent my shit to collections and I now get a bs call everyday. I've called 24s twice to try any resolve the problem only to be put on hold for 5mins+ and I end up hanging up. What the fuk can I do

I'd walk into 24 and take the manager by the throat until he fixed it or passed out personally.

A long time ago I had a bunch of things go to collections. Things don't come off your credit report for 8 years, and its really tough to get thing off ur report. So, if u have collections calling, they have already fukked up ur credit report. If its about principle then post on the 24h fitness facebook, and do whatever else u can.
Companies don't give a fuk about people anymore though. I bought a defective HP laptop. The thing would overheat and eventually the inside melted, but it could have burned my house down. HP knew the laptop was defective and still sold them. There was a class action lawsuit, but the plaintiffs didn't end up getting much, and because Im in Canada, I got nothing. Also, I bought a defective Carrier a/c unit and carrier replaced the part but the labor was more than a new a/c. screwed again.Comment -
If it's in collections, that $80 can go to $500 pretty quick, along with effing up your credit. Just get it paid, and cut your losses. Unfair shit happens sometimes. I like your fighting spirit, but what separates Clint Eastwood from some dumbass who's always in trouble for fighting is knowing when to hold em/fold em/walk away/run.
Next time you cancel something, ask for email confirmation. This $80 could save you thousands down the line if you know how to learn from things like this.
