I got your login when I was in puker's computer the other day and deleted them by accident.

I've had this happen. I don't know where they go but if you have them as a contact on the left side of your screen, you can hover over their name and click "Emails". It will show you all the emails with this person but they're nowhere to be found in the inbox... That's the only solution I'm aware of.

yup, I'd go with RR's suggestion of they might be grouped. Otherwise, did you recently synch your e-mail with some other device/app that you might have chosen not to keep a copy in your gmail?

go to inbox and search for the subject of the email you want
to retrieve and it will get it back for ya.
