His magic used to be awesome. Took me a long time to figure out how he did it.
Now, he is really slipping in the details and it so apparent that it's embarrassing.
After the last episode of Ink Master (Joey won by the way) they aired a Chris Angle show where he did a few tricks.
In the first trick he pulls 2 people apart and switches their lower torsos. You don't even have to look closely to see that he replaced the people at the last moment with disabled people who do not have lower torsos. He basically picked up to disabled people and set their bodies on fake pairs of legs. Then, he replaces those people with normal folks who have full bodies. Not only do these people look nothing like the disabled folks, but their clothes are different. Lamest shiit ever.
Then, he does another trick where he swallows some thread and spits it out towards a needle. The thread goes through the needle. Problem is, you can clearly see some invisible string on the leading end of the string. So obviously, someone just pulled it out of his mouth and right through the needle. Another bogus trick with a complete lack of attention to detail. You would have thought that after seeing how bad the trick is they would do it again.
On top of all that, his vegas show is regarded as the worst one in town.
