Germany would have had no way to get to US shores to defeat us/take our freedoms. If Germany had won control of all of Europe they still would have had to build a strong navy to get to our shores to beat our army to gain any control of the US. It would have taken decades and that assumes that we'd just sit back and let it happen without building up our own army and navy.

This is a bunch of bullshit. US got involved in the war of it's own accord not because Germany threatened US freedoms. World War II started as a European war. America really had no stake in the game. Britain begged for us to get involved but the fact is it wasn't our fight.
