serious question for men with kids/planning to
10-15 yrs ago, the help wanted ads were full of companies looking/begging you to be hired. Now, the help wanted ads are lucky to be one page..and i'm in New York. With you having young children/planning to have children..what resolution do you see for them to find work and have a future?? college tuition is going much higher and with obama care, companies are looking to hire more part time/less full time. Did these concerns play into the future your kids might have..pls discuss

People use this thing called the "Internet" to find jobs these days.

if you put your life on hold or chose not to have kids because your worried your kid wont find a job in 18 years then i am sorry for you.....kids are the best thing in my life my friend, yeah they are hard work and can be pain in the ass but its all worth it when they say 'dadda' or when you go out in the yard and teach them to throw the pig skins its all worth it....if your worried about a job or the college maybe its you that needs to work harder, start busting your chops and start saving up, create your own business or start property developing on the weekends then when the kid(s) is of age they can work for you.....

wouldnt look to much into the wanted ads, as gaucho said everything is on the internet, and if it isnt then you need to move, alot of these pieces of $hit that say they cant find a job are in bad areas, no one wants to get up and move but some times thats what it takes....

      all the best my man!

I don't think you can make a parenting decision based on the classified section of a newspaper that probably won't exist in 3 years.

If your child has a talent, is educated, there will be a job market for him/her.
