OP you are not racist for posting what you did in the first post. Biteme asked would a person who constantly pointed out faults and problems with a particular race meanwhile referring to them with racial slurs be considered racist. I agreed that they would. However I don't think it is near the fault that media and popular culture attempt to portray it to be.

Well, I am racist then. To contend that a group of people as a result of their environment have developed distinct physical characteristics (skin color, hair texture, skull shape, unique bone density, vocal characteristics, etc.) but behavioral and mental attributes have remained unchanged is preposterous. What is superior is relative. What is an asset in one environment may be a liability in another. I though, along with any reasonable person, recognize there are differences which go beyond the physical. Doesn't mean you have to hate a group of people but you're kidding yourself if you accept the PC notion that our differences end at appearance.

Of course there is great diversity within groups. Jamal might be a fat and uncoordinated computer nerd and Ralphie might be a slam dunk champion dropout. That is what makes this such a difficult issue.
