Matt Kemp showing his true heart for a Dodgers fan.
This story is a couple months old, but if you haven't seen it, it is worth a look. he didn't do what he did for publicity(because he didn't know someone was recording it) he did it as a good hearted human being who went above and beyond what I have yet to see any other ball player ever do(especially after they just got swept in San Francisco and were in the middle of a horrible losing streak)

The 19 year old fan in the video is Joshua Jones and he has just died of brain cancer.

This is what I like to see in very gifted people. The fact they realize how blessed they are and do what they can to make a difference. Every person has a talent. We should all strive to find our talents and use them to help others. One of the greatest feelings one can get is through service to others

    Good post.

I briefly scanned through that forum first and didn't see anything about it, that was why I posted it in here. I do see the thread now down at the bottom. This one won't get lost as easily as that other one.

MLB needs more Kemps and less A-Rods.

He knew he would die and you can clearly see how much that meant to him. Didn't cost the players anything, didn't cost the crowd anything to make this happen, but for him it clearly was one of the best days of his life. The guys in the crowd that made this happen deserve a medal. More then any politician/singer/whatever asshole. I don't believe in god, I don't believe in Karma, but I truly feel that it is important to think of others sometimes. Some little gestures in life don't cost you basically anything at all, but can mean so much.
