a somewhat boring delivery, but an important step in the process. anyone else on here ever had a UFO experience. i did, i was around the age of 15. had just gotten home from something. it was dark outside so probably around 9pm. my mom was driving. we pull into the drive way, i get out and shut the door. as i shut the door i notice something in the sky on the opposite side of this empty field in front of my house. it was a huge fat cigar shaped ufo with about 4 to 5 big windows on the side facing me. i couldnt see into the windows but could see there was light shining inside the object illuminating the windows. it was far away but a big enough craft to make it seem like it was closer than it really was. on the other side of the field is a apartment complex and then a row of trees. the ufo was moving at a slow down ward rate until it was eventually behind the row of trees. now if i was the only person to have experienced this i would have never told anyone about it because i would have had a hard time convincing my self that i wasnt hallucinating or it was just an overactive imagination. but my adult, christian, the bible is 100% correct thinking mother experienced this with me. we were both completely awe struck by the sighting, and thats a weird feeling. the only time we both have ever felt like that. you cant really say you know what it is to be in awe of something until youve experienced it. but once youve experienced it you cant forget it. friends have said well why didnt you take a picture of it then. i was in awe, somewhat frozen in a state of trying to comprehend. and this was also in a time where everyone didnt have 3 different types of cameras within reach at all times. if you wanted to take a picture back then you had to go get the camera from the spot you kept it in, put in a roll of film, turn on the flash, wait for it to warm up, and then take the picture. theres really only 3 explanations for what we both experienced that night, and ill list them from what i think is least likely to most likely. 1st it could have been a simultaneous hallucination. possible but doubtful since you need some sort of hallucinogen for that to happen. and we were both completely sober, i hadnt even smoked weed yet at this point in my life. the weird thing is that my mom called a friend of hers that was about 4 miles away and i would have thought would have been able to see it after it went out of our view but she said she didnt. and the next day she called the airport and the newspaper to see if anyone reported something similar and no one had. 2nd it could have been a hoax. if this was a hoax it was one of the best looking hoaxes of all time. i seriously felt like i was in a movie when i was seeing this. and the point of a hoax is to trick as many people as possible. like i mentioned above it seemed like me and my mom where the only people that witnessed this. 3rd it was a ufo. now that doesnt mean there were aliens inside but it was definitely an object in the sky that we had both never identified before. sorry for the rant to those that made it this far, but just curious if anyone else has had similar experiences. me and my mom never really recapped and talked about that moment until this weekend. funny how the brain works b/c my opinion is that her brain tried to forget about it b/c it didnt really fit in with her up bringing world view that god created adam and eve in the begging and that was it. let me know what you think.
