      OFFICIAL day 1

      Went today at noon and there were only 5 people there. It was nice. Got a lot of 1 on 1 attention. We worked cleans and snatches. Did some running, beat up a tire with a sledge hammer, push ups, dips, 1 arm dumbbell snatches and single leg squats.

      For dessert we did a circuit of planks, sit-ups, sit-up twists with a medicine ball, battle rope and hung from rings and brought our knees to our elbows. Did 30 seconds of each for 4 minutes.

      It was a great first day. I'm wiped.

      Best of all, I was the only guy

        Today Im 5'11", 196lb

        will track Ht/Wt. I expect to grow 2" and lose 15lbs.

                      yeh but likely an injury is coming, the chiro here is across from a cross fit gym and he is loving every second of his business coming in from that joint.

                      I have great skin, everyone thinks im in my early 30s, turn 41 soon. I also don't stink, never have

                      You on the other hand. Im not so sure.

                          Archie I go again tomorrow at 9am! Had 5 slices of pepperoni pie today with 2 cokes. I love the old saying "a calorie earned is pizza and coke earned".

                          Seriously if I don't clean up my diet Ill end up like ttwarrior.

                          Spraking of ttitty, until you've finished 1 cross fit session you can't criticize. Don't hate, participate.

                            Dude once your metabolism changes, you can eat whatever you want. I crushed an In n Out cheeseburger with an animal fries yesterday and lost weight. If rooster size doesn't improve, shave pubes for motivation.

                                Clean up that diet pal

                                You will gratifying results much quicker

                                Allow yourself a cheat meal every now and then...it will make the diet easier and give you a nice reward to look forward too

                                Most important thing about the cheat meal/day is to ENJOY it as much as possible. No sense cheating if there is no enjoyment to justify it

                                Looking forward to your progress updates...BOL pal

                                  Thanks GOBLUE! That's what everyone that is in good shape keeps telling me, diet is most important. So I believe it. Here's my main problem, I'm not broke. When I was younger and broke, I was in great shape. Maybe I need to take 95% of my liquid assests and place them in a 401K where I can't touch it without a penalty.

                                  I missed the 9am class today. I thought the clock said 0630 but really it said 0830. At 9am my wife said, "weren't you going to crossfit today?" Now I feel 3x's as fat

                                  Classes start again on Monday at 8am so I'm going to try and make the 0530 class on Mon morning.

                                      I'm terribly out of shape as well. For a while, I didn't care. Life was easy. Now I realize I need to get back in shape. One day at crossfit exposed me.

                                      I'm going to get consistent ARchie and when I do, we're gonna look phenomenal We'll be an event nobody will want to miss.

                                        Much easier to diet when you can't afford to eat/drink on your every whim

                                        Surprisingly as I have got older and learned...it is actually more expensive to eat healthy. These damn stores charge more for heathly, organic foods than they do for the high fructose, sugar/sodium added processed crap

                                        Much easier/cheaper to go eat off the McD's dollar menu. The whole process encourages obesity

                                              Kraken you still doing crossfit? I've been thinking of joining. Boxing classes have been fun but are very repetitive/boring. Need something that is different every day. Only thing holding me back is the price. But I see it as a long term investment. Better health in the long run = fewer medical bills
