As mentioned by others ITT not being able to taste food would in many ways be a huge blessing. Think of how healthy you would be if you chose foods strictly on the basis of cost and nutritional value? I would actually PAY 50k not to be able to taste food for one year. That would get my sorry butt in shape and then I could just maintain for the most part the better diet afterwards
