Neither could I, bruv. I often take life very lightly and say many, many things in jest, comedic rebuttal, sarcasm, or even just because I damn well thought it. I also drink heavily, too much so these days, and smoke copious amounts of great Canadian bud. I am usually drunk or high, or well the fuk on my way to both if not there yet, and I don't really care what I type, as long as I have fun doing so. I find the little things in life amusing and if I find amusement in something, I bloody well laugh and make it as fun (even if I'm making fun of myself) as I possibly can. I know you don't know me but if you look through my history of posts, I have never touted myself to be anything I am not. In fact, in several of my posts I have mentioned that I am, happily and admittedly, a very small-time bettor and don't ever proclaim to have any secret formula or anything of the sort. I have, many times, stood out against the racist, homophobic and nationalistic comments that plague this site and take away from its integrity and the joy and laughter that could be had here. Life is too short to not chuckle at the little nuances and smile back at people who smile at you. If I have something positive I will say it with respect. If I have something negative to say I will say it with even more respect so as to not disguise my point in bigotry, hatred, anger, or lack of compassion for humanity. I give many, many people credit when it is due around here. I rarely go a day without saying to somebody, anybody "great job", "good luck, bruv" or anything else friendly. You would be verrryyyyy hard pressed to find a single poster here who can say I have insulted them or that I have been less than classy when debating a sports topic. I have only ever been in one serious altercation with someone here and he, and myself, could both show that I extended an open hand with an olive branch privately because fighting my own teammate (which we all are) is not what I'm about. This narcism and selfishness on this site is greater than kids in a sandbox trying to squash each other's castles so theirs stands tallest. I have been drunk and having a great time and posted stupid picks, but always with the disclaimer that I was doing just that. I simply saw that I had a badge doohickey that I see on everyone's posts and just had a funny thought that I had never had one, and thought I would just have a laugh at it. My "official" comment and the three dancing dudes are all in great fun, bruv. I am too aware to think "ohhh look at me, I got a baaddgggeeeee" like I am kicking it in the faces of those who don't have one like I am exclusive or something. That was all in jest and poking fun at myself all the while. My initial post stems from, and is meant to induce, humble laughter. I posted it straight to the Saloon, not PT, not any one of the subs, because my understanding is that the Saloon is like, the crap on crap that has even less to do with sports than PT. If there was an even less-notciable forum to put it in, I would have chosen that. It was not to have any attention brought, just a doob in one hand, a beer on the table and funny thought that I shared completely away from any relevant sports talk. I would never start a thread with an ulterior motive of trying to garner attention or add merit to something that is lack thereof.
In regards to your missing badges...I was merely making the observation and sharing the memory that I had been aware of them. Like I had previously stated I DO jus say what is on my mind, especially if it is in support of a fellow human. I only wanted to accomplish conveying my thought that I remember your Av and your S.N. and do remember a visual of badges beneath. It was simply a recalled memory that was regurgitated due to my lack of filter and the booze flowing. I did not mean to make the badges any sort of iconic accomplishments or regarded as relics. I too, could care less about the badges and more about a sense of community and building a consortium to pursue the common goal of making money. I am not trying to make you feel bad for no longer having them, nor am I calling for you to revolt and demand them back, it was a memory turned to words.
It was all in good fun, and in no way meant to promote, praise or post myself up. Hopefully you get your badges back and you have a good chuckle when you do.Comment -

Congrats... if I can get two trivia questions right I take my 60 points and run. Wish I had the balls (and sports knowledge) to go after that third question for the 175 points but I've missed it too many times.Comment
