Investigative journalist reveals ‘FBI plot to kill Occupy Movement leaders’
An American author and investigative journalist says he has obtained some FBI documents which show that the U.S. government had plans to kill some of the leaders of the Occupy Movement in the country.
“These documents …refer very chillingly to a plot that the FBI had awareness of some group- that they black out the name of- to find out the leaders of the Occupy Movement in Texas …and then to use silenced sniper rifles to kill them,” said Dave Lindorff in a phone interview with Press TV’s U.S. Desk.
The documents were released by the FBI under the freedom of information request, Lindorff added.
One of the documents is from the FBI office in Houston, Texas and the other form an FBI office in Florida that refers to the document form Houston, Lindorff went on to explain.
“And they used the terminology ‘it’s deemed necessary’ and refer to it as a ‘long-range plan’ to kill the leadership,” he said.
“So I went to check with the FBI and authenticate the documents and asked them why were then no arrests for such a terror plot and they simply told me that it wasn’t serious.”
This no action on the part of the FBI “leads me and a lot of observers in Texas to believe that this was a plot by an organization affiliated with the government or part of the government whether it was local police or bank security guards or a combination of the two or homeland security.”
