This Visiting Dog Fund is bought at the open and then some plays may pop up through the week, due to market movement, and we buy them as they come up.
Because these plays are beating the closing line be well over a point, you probably do not want to wait until the close to buy them.
So all those plays posted above were at the open but limits are smaller on the openers. As more and more books carry the line, I continue to fill my positions. So Vandy at +18, 17.5 and 17 are all buys in my opinion, with the 18 being very early and quite frankly not as widely available.
Almost every line I post will be the widely availalble line at the time, but those openers move fast.
This Fund just went 7-1 last week so know that going into this week. There's always some give and take.
But if you wait until game time to buy those plays, you wll likey have worse numbers in the majority of them. This year those plays are 22-6-7 against the closing line.
That means that of the 35 plays posted, only 6 of them had a better line at the close than when I posted.
For most of the Visiting Dog Fund it's best to buy them as soon as you can.
But as always, I have to say it's ok to just tail, but try to do some of your own work and compare. I'm always willing to help with that.
And, as always, track you picks and why you made them, it will reveal a lot about your capping. Even if the reason for some bet is simply "KVB's sharpest Fund says so" then track that, or follow my tracking.
The market tracking Funds are where we really try to exploit the give and take.
Like in this post with the UPSET Basket...

#100676lol Imagine if I started threads each sunday in PT saying which lines would move, and when.
It would be nuts. I shouldn't even be doing it here.
Also, don't drink and drive...

#100677Not quite. What those graphs show are the units and how the early buys are beating the closing line.

That UPSET Basket, as you can see, has provided some good opportunity so it's one to follow for sure.
also, regarding why i asked if i should bet just before kick... See quote below. I thought it implied that record vs opening line was 21-13-1 while the record vs closing line was 22-6-7. Meaning some of the loses turned in to ties against closing line.
"Let's do the summary too...Here's the KVB NCAAF Visiting Dog Fund through all 35 plays this season with links to each play. The Fund is 21-13-1, +6.44 units and is 22-6-7 against the close averaging +1.21 points against it."
Thanks for all info and explanation.

#100680I stopped at 60, I think I'm going to do that for a while and build up some free play. I might try to bet in the SBR Book more.
I figure I can do better there with the 60 than with the next trivia question. Even if I do use google...lmao.
With Google, I think 60 can be done near every time.
Unless it's like "What day did JJ Gold finally get laid?" Or one of those wacky questions.

#100684Any readers who were around during my opening buy blitz chime in somehow, either with a nomination, reply, a point, or something.
I'm considering a live stream but it's kind of a busy, boring time. Well it's not boring, actually it's kind of crazy. I only post tidbits of all the nuttiness, a livestream might be the only way to really appreciate what happens while everyone is sweating the early NFL bets.
I would also answer any specific questions, if anyone has any. I know there are many that want to stay low key, pm me if you want.
I'm ready to go into the "metrics of the markets" to give an inside look, at least to some extent.
Doves, where you at? Higher? Where you at? I know how many will read this post, and it will be less than 1/10th of those reading the blitz of openers (I know the numbers).
So I might bump this post once more before doing any videos.

Everyone knows I'm not doing this for attention, but I also know some numbers.
So this post was intentional. I genuinely wanted to know something that guides my next steps. I guess I'm getting an anwer but technically and statistically this should be bumped a couple more times to be sure.

There was an anomaly, lol, a big one. Just trying to figure out if it was legit, or somehow an error. I happen to have some stats and analytics that are surprising. Posting plays is already -EV, lol, I have to temper my action with wisdom here.
I like Lakeshow on a personal level. He's a good guy, not dumb that's for sure. He gets into the cat and mouse of gambling and gets the big picture but like every one of us, it's hard to stay disciplined. The market offers a lot fruit, but it's not all good.
What if I made a thread for every play in the haymaker Fund.
lol it would be so ugly.
Otherwise, not sure about your history, I've never really seen you too clashing before.
Liked that little jam you posted, looking for more.
You on the game tonight? It's Jets or pass for me. No bet yet.

First of all, I know you put a lot of work in your funds, markets, upset brackets, etc. when analyzing and handicapping games...Any way possible for you (using all of the information at your disposal) to list your best bets or locks for the week in both college and pro?...I might bet them straight up or sprinkle a little teaser on them...Comment -
