I have a friend that does all the time and makes a load. Nothing vegas (yet vegas does have some single action), we have local injun joints playing 1-2 deck; where counting is rather easy. I've tried...not for me. It takes too much concentration (fast counting) and I'm rather fukking ripped when I am at the casino.

That is very true.It is difficult but not impossible. You have to be sober though and really be able to concentrate and filter out everything around you except the cards. Not easy or very pleasant.

how can they be counted effectively when they are auto shuffled so often ?
