Getting ready to watch American Hustle with the ol' lady and possibly use the new anal plug on her tonight. Her request btw, but been boozen all day, so prob not going to happen.

Anyway, we are in water restriction due to drought. We can't water from 10a to 9p. Today, for the first time I thought I may need to put a little water on the lawn as it's going to be 90+ tomorrow. Fine, I did. I have a water well and built in watering system. It was before 10a, actually the sprinkler system shut off at 9:45a.

Apparently I had a c ock sucker drive by and witnessed a minute of water wastage drip off on to the sidewalk and down into the city drain. So I am down stairs, just getting out the shower, and hear a yell from my 5 yr old say the police are coming in...lol. I come up stairs and talk to these fine individuals. It appears they are more embarrassed than I am. Mind you, it took two officers.

Officers: A individual called in and said you were wasting water.
Me: OK, How?
Officers: We took pictures, but it seems one of your sprinklers was leaking and dripping down the sidewalk and onto the street. Also, the sprinkler trying to water your bushes is too far over and is hitting your driveway; dripping down into the street.
Me: WTF are you talking about.
Me: How much water waste are we talking about?
Officers: Very little from what we see, but a rule is a rule. We have pictures.
Me: Ok fine. How much discretion do you have?
Officers: rule is a rule; it was called in.
Me: Ok, it is fine for me to wash my vehicle before 10a and after 9p?
Officers: Yes
Me: What is the difference of water wastage (washing my vehicle) going down my driveway vs. wastage from my sprinkler system?
Officers: Pause...Pause....

Yeah only Football. I used to bet NBA but I sat it out this year....Oh and I also play cards...

holdem? you play online or in person? we got these charity poker events around chicagoland, pretty decent. used to love online tourneys but thats not the same anymore. got into sports after poker dried up in usa.
